- Unknown Source. I needed to post this, to get this out. I miss you. You know who you are. I have been doing that thing, where I skip the songs that meant the most. Mainly just two of them, one more so than the other. Songs about lakes and skylines and humming and hallelujahs. I just, I really really miss you and I really can’t wait to see you, even if it is going to be for only an hour or so.

This song is just, SO GOOD. It’s perfect for any and every situation and I can’t get past just how damn good it is. There’s a cover by Brendon Urie out there on I think youtube that’s pretty phenomenal as well, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can touch Bradley Nowell. A legend.

I can sit by and pretend to like someone, easily. I can smile, laugh at the right moments, nod, and hug you with the most sincere passion I can muster. I can do this if it’s to keep my family from hurting.

But when you come into my home, start telling me you wish my baby brother was “shipped out to the front lines of battle in Iraq already”, and start belittling me and chiding me like I’m a five year old who stole a cookie from the cookie jar, then we have a goddamn problem. When you’re telling me that you’re shocked I’m actually going to college because you didn’t think I had it in me, when you think that it’s totally cool to tell me my baby brother is “such a stress on the relationship!”, and when you think it’s alright to direct what I’m majoring in and where I’m choosing to go for school? Then I can’t fake it. I can’t sit back and lie to my mother any longer about you.

You’re an arrogant asshole and don’t deserve her. You’re a selfish, hoarding, wasteful, prick who deserves to be alone. You don’t deserve the love my mother has to offer.

It’s no wonder why your daughter doesn’t even speak to you any longer.

Admit it ladies, and gentlemen; you think Jack White is hot, and you don’t quite know why. Allow me to explain. He’s creepy as fuck, but he’s the kind of creeper you want climbing through your bedroom window late at night. When he smiles it almost looks as if he wants to molest you, but for reasons unknown you’re not scared, in fact you want it.

Musician much? Not only does he kill the guitar, but he sings, and rocks the drums, and looks good doing it. He can make a fucking guitar out of a bottle, piece of wood and wire…whaaaat? I can’t imagine that creativity is limited to his musical skills.

His hair is a hot mess; emphasis on the hot. You don’t really know what’s happening there, but you do know that you want to be pulling on it as his sweaty body is tangled in yours.

His body is BA-banging. He fills out those shirts in a way that makes you want to tear them off…with your mouth. His arms scream hold me and you know he’s capable of throwing you against the wall and showing you how real men do.

He’s a family man who keeps his life on the DL for the sake of the kids. You respect that, but there’s no reason you can’t respect it while laying naked in his bed.

To be honest, this is the only album I even like from TAI and the only real good thing I think they’ve put out. After Tom Conrad left, they lost a HUGE talent. It’s a shame since they had a ton of potential, really.
